This bench is an urban furniture inspired by the amazonian aquatic plant Victoria amazonica. Robust, it has circular shaped leaves that float on water.
Produced in UNESP Bauru the bench also honors the city's largest park, which adopts the same name.
When the user is standing by its side, he has the illusion that the seats, just like the plants, are floating.
Este banco é um mobiliário urbano inspirado na planta aquática amazônica Vitória-régia. Robusta, possui folhas em formato circular, que flutuam sobre a água.
Produzido na UNESP de Bauru o banco também homenageia maior parque da cidade, que adota o mesmo nome.
Quando o usuário está de pé ao seu lado, tem a ilusão de que os assentos, assim como as plantas, estão flutuando.
For the construction of the seats it was used the sawmill residue known as sapwood. The project aims to add value to this irregular material so far discarded by the industry.
Para a construção dos assentos foi empregado o resíduo de serraria conhecido como costaneira. O projeto visa agregar valor ao material irregular, até então descartado pela indústria.
